Fireball Whiskey Sour Ale - Collab with Beer Ink, Huddersfield.
We used one of our solid, in-house sour grain bills and fermented with Sour Hour yeast to form the base sour beer.
We then added lemon zest, cassia bark, ground cinammon, mixed red chillies and scotch bonnets, and finally allowed the beer to rest on Fireball Whiskey-soaked oak chips.
The result is a tart, yet warming and inadvertently-christmassy-spiced sour beer that'll warm your cockles in the cold months, without burning your head off.
