Paulaner Munich Dunkel is an easy drinking, Dark Munich lager with a malty, chocolaty flavour. Original Münchner Dunkel is actually the "original" Munich beer. Although light beer overtook dark in popularity stakes at the end of the 19th century, the traditional, strong flavor of Original Münchner Dunkel is once again enjoying an upward trend. Its dark golden color and wonderfully full flavor are the results of the traditional bottom-fermented brewing process using dark quality barley malt.
